Pony rides for kids near San Francisco

Planning a party? See our pony birthday parties for ages 3 to 9.

Did one ride leave them wanting more? Children aged 3 to 6 can join the Junior Club at Leyden Horsemanship, the riding school at our barn: eight pony rides and one 30-minute lesson a month. From age 3, children can also start kids riding lessons. Families come out from San Francisco, Daly City, Pacifica, South San Francisco and San Bruno: the pony ride happens here on the bluff at the ranch, not with a travelling vendor, and you can book a time online.

    And there's no need for butterflies in your tummy. Our very own horse-riding heroes are here to guide you on this fun journey. They're experts at making sure you're always safe and always having a great time.
